The deadline for submitting KEF (Knowledge Exchange Framework) narratives is fast approaching, and so we are holding a workshop to provide a space for people working on the Public and Community Engagement perspective to share work in progress, and take stock of how the template, and the process a whole, is working in practice.
When? Tuesday 15th September 10 – 12.30. Booking closes 12.00 Friday 11th September.
The session is aimed at anyone involved with KEF submissions. You may be a public engagement professional, or have a more general Knowledge Exchange role.
The session will include:
Work in progress: the University of Plymouth has volunteered to share how they have approached the process, and the lessons they are learning. We hope this will provide a trigger for others to share their experiences
Surgery: We are inviting delegates to bring ‘work in progress’ to discuss with colleagues in break out rooms. Each group will focus on a different aspect of the template (e.g. the strategy section)
Plenary: ‘Top tips’ from each breakout group
What next? The session will close with some time to reflect on further developments in the Knowledge Exchange and engagement space, including the roll out of the Knowledge Exchange Concordat and next steps with the R&D Roadmap
