Public engagement and Performance Conference brings together researchers and students from across the human and social sciences, as well as the arts and humanities, who are interested in finding out, exploring and developing better ways of understanding and communicating their research. We invite you to join us for an unusual opportunity to explore these pertinent issues.

The programme has been designed to provide opportunities for researchers/academics/students/ to develop ideas, to present and discuss their work, to be inspired by others and to forge alliances and collaborations across disciplinary borders with other researchers.

There are several ways to get involved in this conference:

1) present a paper or compose a panel on any area of autoethnography, performance or public engagement.

2) submit your ‘in-progress’ work to the clinic/workshop sessions – the number of papers accepted are limited.

3) submit completed work for consideration for the evening of performances

4) you don’t have to present or perform at all! You can come and learn, share, watch, contribute to the event through the questions you have, pick up ideas, and become better informed.

You can submit abstracts and view the full programme here
