GW4 Citizen Science Workshop

Date and Time:
Wednesday, March 26, 2014 - 9:30am to 4:30pm

Bath Literary and Scientific Institute

Citizen science projects, wherein volunteers partner with researchers in data collection and / or data analysis activities, provide opportunities for members of the public to gain a deeper understanding of research work in an appealing way.

This free, day-long workshop will provide space for interaction and discussion around the opportunities and challenges presented by Citizen Science. Case study examples from across the GW4 universities (Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter) will be shared, and we will hear from keynote speakers with extensive experience in the field.

Open to any researcher (from postgraduate level upwards) from the GW4 universities.
