Join us for the next session in the NCCPE Seminar Series, where we’ll be sharing stories from the Collaboratory Research Hub, a pioneering initiative driving locally relevant, challenge-based research in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland. As a strategic partner in the programme, the NCCPE is providing expertise and training in engagement and civic leadership to support students in developing collaborative, community-focused approaches.
This seminar will explore how the Collaboratory programme is changing research culture by embedding collaboration between universities, community organisations, and local citizens. You’ll hear directly from students involved in the programme, who will share insights into their research and the way they work with communities.
Expect a rich and engaging session that includes:
- An introduction to the Collaboratory programme and its vision for community-driven research.
- A conversation between students and the NCCPE, talking about their projects and approaches.
- A live Q&A session where you can ask questions and connect with the speakers.
Whether you're a researcher, community partner, or simply curious about innovative approaches to community engaged research and public engagement, this seminar offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired.
