Thanks for the Memories Project - The Value of Intersdisciplinary and Collaborative Engagement

University of Oxford

This lightening talk proposes that interdisciplinary and collaborative public engagement is fundamental to how Universities can make meaningful societal impacts in response to the biggest challenges in our rapidly changing world.

It does so by sharing a successful example: 'Thanks for the Memories', a Wellcome-funded public engagement project, co-led by the University of Oxford and the Royal Northern College of Music, which brings together immunologists, musicians, and secondary school students to tackle the question of vaccine confidence through the creation of music.

Join to discover how the project drove positive change in Oxford and Manchester communities and enriched vaccination research.
