Impact of diverse and inclusive public involvement in health research
University of Oxford
Our infographic poster highlights the positive differences the Diversity in Research Group makes to health research, researchers, and group members. We hope to inspire members of the public, especially those from under-represented communities, to get involved in research.
The Group was set up by the Oxford and Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centres to increase the meaningful input by public contributors, especially those from traditionally non-engaged groups, to health research. With Group members’ guidance at every stage, we conducted a study of the Group’s involvement in research to form a detailed understanding of its impact and how this could be improved.
