Ignite: A programme for inclusive community-university partnership projects
University of Brighton
Ignite is the University of Brighton’s fast-track model for building an annual cohort of inclusive co-produced projects, developed from over two decades of evidence from its pioneering Community University Partnership Programme (CUPP).
The poster shares the 10 Ignite partnership principles and the six-step process that accelerates project development. Example projects - from carers’ craftivism in the Welsh Senedd to environmental research with global relevance - show how small, well-supported collaborations can generate robust evidence, spark innovation and create pathways for future funding while achieving meaningful community impact.
Members of the Ignite team will be available to discuss the model and share practical insights.
