Explore the complexity of “place”

Drop in for an activity based on the Place Navigator developed by the NCCPE for the Civic University Network. You’ll build your own mini “place ecosystem” using a curated deck of cards representing the key sectors, agendas, challenges and actors that shape places. This encounter invites you to sort, connect and remix the building blocks of place, revealing insights into cross‑sector partnerships, the dynamics of place-based working and the role of universities in place. Whether you’ve done lots of place-based work or are completely new to this, you’ll leave with a clearer sense of who’s involved, how the system fits together, and where universities sit within the bigger picture.
