Civic universities as key partners in inclusive community innovation and enterprise

In this Encounter we will showcase inclusive entrepreneurship and civic innovation models that are already in progress in UK regions, based on a Community Innovation & Enterprise Hubs (CIEHs) model. We will warmly invite all participants to contribute their ideas and experience to this approach in a) Identifying barriers and enablers of inclusive innovation and b) Sharing their thoughts on practical frameworks for CIEHs that can be piloted locally in their contexts. Participants will thus become part of an ongoing movement to co-produce pathways towards a more genuinely civic university whose purpose is to serve its community.
