This event is fully booked.

Join us for this national event on Thursday 31st October in London to reflect on the role of public engagement in REF 2021, and to enhance your Impact Case Studies (ICS). With expert guidance, group activities and discussions, sole work, paired feedback, and specialist knowledge provided by the NCCPE, this interactive workshop will enable you to refresh your REF 2021 thinking.

There will be opportunities to enrich your understanding of public engagement impacts and how they can be evidenced, and consider the features of high quality narrative.

Bring along your REF 2021 ICS to work through during the event. This could be your own case study, or one from the institution that you are supporting, and can be in any stage of development.

The event will close with an opportunity to hear from Steven Hill from Research England, who will be sharing his reflections on why impact and public engagement matter to Research England and UKRI.

This event is targeted at:

  • Academics and researchers that have an ICS with a public engagement focus or those that have a key role for REF at their institution
  • HEI professional services staff involved in supporting the development of impact case studies

N.B - Please note, we are now fully booked for HEI professional services staff wishing to book an individual place. Please get in touch if you would like to be placed on the waiting list.
