Join the NCCPE as a Senior Project Officer
Could you help us build public engagement capacity in the Higher Education sector? The NCCPE is recruiting for a Senior Project Officer to play a key role in managing the portfolio of services we offer. The closing date for this role is Friday 30th May.

At NCCPE we have a suite of services that help universities to better support, embed and recognise meaningful public engagement. We work with organisations and individuals to develop strategies, skills, tools, and networks to support long-term culture change.
Our services currently include:
- Training and resources for researchers wishing to work in more engaged ways with diverse groups.
- Consultancy to universities wishing to develop their organisational strategy and approach to embedding public engagement.
- The Engage Watermark – an assessment and award which recognises the degree to which an organisation has embedded public engagement.
- The Manifesto for Public Engagement – through which HEI’s can publicly commit to further developing their approach to public engagement.
Working alongside the Director of Programmes, our new Senior Project Officer will be involved in helping to continuously improve our existing services and to identify opportunities to further develop and expand our suite of training, consultancy and supporting resources for the Higher Education sector. This will involve working with client colleagues in universities and with our team of associates to identify and scope out specific needs and to develop an NCCPE offer in response.
The closing date for applications is Friday 30th May 2025, and we’d love to hear from you.
