NCIA Action Learning Day March 2025

The NCIA Action Learning Programme (ALP) delivered through the National Civic Impact Accelerator brought together universities and civic partners to strengthen civic engagement, address shared challenges and embed strategic civic practices within their institutions and communities.

As identified in the final Action Learning report, we know that civic engagement is sustained through patient and relational practice and that civic practitioners require peer networks and reflective learning environments to navigate complexities, sustain momentum, and strengthen the strategic contribution of their work.

As the National Civic Impact Accelerator comes towards a close at the end of December 2025, we are keen to build on the momentum created through the action learning process and bring together civic-minded colleagues from universities and their civic partners across the country.

The event will take place at The Studio, 7 Canon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EP, arrival is from 10:00am to start at 10:30am and the event will finish at 4:00pm.

As part of this form, we will ask for details that can be used to identify you – e.g. your name, email address, job title, institution, location, etc. We will also ask for details of your accessibility requirements. This information is needed so that we can process your registration and ensure you are able to fully access the event.

We will store all your responses securely in files held on Microsoft services hosted by the University of the West of England, Bristol. The data are accessible only to members of the NCCPE; access requires multifactor authorisation using institutional names and passwords. Your responses will be stored for 3 months from the date of the event, after which time they will be permanently destroyed.

We are working with a freelance associate to plan this event, as part of this we will be sharing information with them that could be used to identify you. All freelance associates we work with are contracted by the Unviersity of West of England and have met their standard for data protection
