Co-creating Across Borders: How to Involve the Public in Complex, High-Stakes Digital Forensic Research
Leverhulme Research Centre for Forensic Science
How do you meaningfully involve the public in research that's technical, fast-moving, and politically sensitive? We'll share learning from the Clarus Project's five citizen juries, public involvement groups recruited across EU countries to work with researchers and practitioners focusing on the language used in digital forensic investigations. We'll reflect on what it takes to build inclusive, cross-border public engagement in areas where the stakes are high and the contexts are complex. Our poster offers practical insights for researchers and engagement professionals aiming to embed two-way collaboration into their work, especially when working internationally or in fields of high sensitivity.
