A Hands-On Guide to Creative Evaluation

This interactive encounter invites participants to explore four hands-on, creative approaches to evaluating engagement and impact. Developed through collaboration between Queen's University Belfast and Belfast City Council, the session draws on real-world practice from artists, researchers, and community partners. Set in a relaxed, studio-style space, participants can drop in at any point and engage through making, talking, or observing. Each station offers a different method, with take-home packs available for those who want to apply the tools in their own work. There are no slides or lectures, just space to reflect, experiment, and reimagine inclusive, ethical evaluation in action.
