Location: Liverpool John Moores University, Rodney Street, L1 2UA.
Please join us if you are a NCCPE Ambassador, or a public engagement network coordinator interested in joining the scheme, based in the North of England and Wales.
Our first regional event for Public Engagement Ambassadors will be a participatory affair. The aims are:
To get to know each other;
Share ideas, information, tips and support;
Identify what we want from our Regional Network and the NCCPE in future.
Laura Steele from the NCCPE will also provide information about recent, current and forthcoming NCCPE projects and events.
Lunch and afternoon refreshments will be provided.
The event is organised by our Regional Ambassadors, in collaboration with the NCCPE. For enquiries, please email Penny Vincent.
About the scheme
The NCCPE Ambassador Scheme aims to improve the quality of higher education public engagement practice, by supporting individuals who coordinate relevant networks across the UK.
If you currently run or coordinate a network that is relevant to public engagement in higher education in the UK, then we would welcome your application.
Our Regional Ambassadors work with the NCCPE to facilitate the scheme and organise events across six regions: Scotland, Northern Ireland, North West England and Wales, North East England, South West England and Wales, South England.
Find out more about the scheme and apply. Other events will be coming up across the regions in spring and summer 2017.
