How To Apply

The Engage Competition 2016 is now closed for entries. Our awards ceremony took place on 29th November 2016 in Bristol as part of the Engage Conference. Find out more about our finalists and award winners.

NCCPE Engage Competition 2016 entries will only be accepted via our online application form.

The application form must be completed by the lead entrant for the competition - a current member of staff or student at a UK HEI or Research Institute.

The competition deadline was Tuesday 19th July at 5pm.

Preparing Your Application

Please ensure you have read the competition terms and conditions before making your application.

The online application form cannot be saved and returned to at a later date, and cannot be retrieved in the event of an internet connection error or timeout. So please make use of our MS Word version of the application form for your preparation. You can also download a PDF version of the application form.

The judging panel can only assess your project based on the information given in the submitted application form. Therefore please make sure you include all the relevant information.

Letter of Support

As part of the application form, you will be asked to upload a letter of support. The letter should be written by the line manager or supervisor of the lead entrant, and should add to the case for support of the public engagement project in question.

The letter of support should be provided on headed paper, dated, and signed by the line manager. Please ensure that the letter is saved as a PDF document.
