Beginners' Guide to Evaluation: Bristol

This one day course will encourage you to think about why evaluation is important, and what it can tell you, taking delegates through every aspect of developing an effective evaluation plan for their public engagement activity.

Aimed at: Staff who need to develop an evaluation plan for an activity or project, including researchers and support staff. Please note this is for people who consider themselves evaluation 'beginners'.

The course will cover important topics including:

  • Why evaluate your activity?
  • How do you get started?
  • How to engage your audiences in evaluation
  • Creative ways to evaluate
  • Where can you get help and support for your evaluation?

This highly interactive course, with exercises and discussion, will enable you to develop a draft evaluation strategy for your activity, and find out how to put it into practice.
