Make the most of impact evaluation for your public engagement events or activities by learning about key issues and techniques you can use. Speakers will introduce you to a range of tools for conducting robust impact evaluation of public engagement, drawing upon their extensive experience and internationally-recognised evaluation expertise.

  • How evaluating public engagement impact can benefit practice and improve outcomes.
  • How to collect impact evidence using high quality methods of qualitative and quantitative research.
  • How to address possible sources of bias that could affect your evaluation.
  • Working with external evaluators to assess public engagement impact.

The workshop assumes you have a general familiarity with typical forms of evaluation. The focus of this workshop is to introduce how to push evaluation into measuring impact.
