Adult Learners' Week Family and Community Awards

< Back to all news

NIACE are seeking stories about remarkable people who have benefited from learning in a community setting, either as an individual or through an apprenticeship. Let them know your stories about those who have learnt with or for their family and whose learning has had a direct positive impact on family life.

They are also looking for organisations that have benefited local communities or families, either through learning projects or as a learning-friendly employer.

The awards are the ideal opportunity to highlight the difference that learning makes to learners' lives, their families and their communities. You can nominate an individual, an apprentice, an employer or a learning project.

It's fast and easy to nominate online at www.alw.org.uk/nominate
The closing date is Thursday 30 January 2014.

More reasons to nominate...

  • By nominating an outstanding learner, you boost their self-confidence and turn them into a role model that will inspire others back into learning.
  • It's also the perfect opportunity to highlight your project or learning provision and the impact that your support has on the people you work with.
  • You have the opportunity to benefit from a variety of free publicity and marketing opportunities
  • There are a range of exciting award categories for you to nominate learners, apprentices, projects and organisations.
