You are invited to attend a discussion on the ‘good society’ and how we get there? The vision for this event is a collaboration of thoughts, a conversation and idea sharing around what the good society might look like.

The aim of the focus group is to gather academic and practitioner considerations of a Good Society, to share what is being done by different sectors in terms of poverty alleviation and inequality and to focus on what more can be done.

The results of discussions at this event will contribute to a final research report compiled in July 2016 for the Webb Memorial Trust which examines responses to poverty, inequality, social growth and development. This research report will feed into the wider policy narrative focusing on notions of a Good Society.

The findings of the report will then be shared and developed with academic, voluntary, public and private sector groups across Britain between July 2016 and April 2017.
