The Royal Society, London, SW1Y 5AG

Cost: £200

As a wrap around to this year's Going Global conference, we are excited to invite you to join us in exploring how the UK higher education system is implementing profound changes in how universities connect their research and teaching with wider society. If you are not planning on attending the Going Global conference, you can still attend this one day event by booking via the registration button above.

This one day symposium is aimed at university managers and leaders; policy makers and funders; and at engagement specialists and brokers working to develop more effective engagement and knowledge exchange strategies in the higher education sector. It will provide an opportunity to explore the UK story in depth, and for delegates to share their own experiences of the topic. You can find out more about the one day symposium and keynote speakers on the Going Global website.

University visits

Delegates may also be interested in visits being arranged by the NCCPE to UK universities with pioneering approaches to social engagement:
  • University of Brighton (4th June)
  • UCL and Queen Mary (5th June)

The visits will be hosted by a member of NCCPE staff. You will have the opportunity to find out more about the ways in which the HEIs are implementing their engagement strategies and to meet key staff involved in leading and coordinating the work. If you are interested in these visits, please indicate on your booking form (additional charges apply).
