Service Learning and Public Engagement - sharing effective approaches

This free event taking place in London, will offer an opportunity to hear what’s happening in engagement in Germany. There will be an opportunity to discuss Engaged Learning and Public Engagement in German speaking countries and to explore the potential and barriers to implementing Service Learning and Campus Community Partnerships in German higher education.

There will be an opportunity to discuss potential partnerships that could be developed to apply for funding within the EU programme Horizon 2020.

We are really keen to involve people who are spearheading the engagement agenda in the UK, including those supporting service learning: people who are keen to explore how policy drivers in the UK and Germany are affecting changes in the academy, and how lasting culture change can be successfully negotiated.

We are delighted to be joined by colleagues from Germany including:

- Dr. Volker Meyer-Guckel, Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft
