Community Research Partnerships Learning Programme: Expression of Interest form

Thank you for your interest in taking part in this project!

The NCCPE, The Young Foundation and a consortium of parties have been commissioned by UKRI to design a learning programme for individuals involved in community research partnerships. Our initial research explored the dynamics of collaborative research processes, the challenges and opportunities, and the nature of learning programmes that could help. We now need your help to design and create learning interventions that would strengthen capabilities in community research partnerships. The ideas we develop together will inform UKRI’s investment in learning and development.

The next phase of this work will be a set of workshops where we’ll be exploring a potential ‘menu of options’ for different learning programmes, with the chance to share your perspective and ideas for what would work for you. The initial workshops are now fully booked, but there is still an opportunity to take part in the Sensemaking Workshops:

There will be two final Sensemaking workshops on 27th September (AM and PM), bringing together what we’ve learned and heard across the project, to share and explore for further feedback.

  • These will take place online, and be approximately 2.5 hours long. Previous workshop attendees are warmly welcomed back.

To express your interest in taking part, please complete this expression of interest form.

There will be a £50 payment for taking part in the workshop, if participation falls outside what you’d do as part of your day-to-day role. If you have additional support needs to facilitate your involvement e.g. caring costs, please tell us in the form below.

Participants will be asked to read and complete a consent form before taking part in the workshops. You can download a version of this below. If you would like to talk it through or have any questions, please email Maddy Foard: maddy.foard@uwe.ac.uk

Sensemaking Workshop

The sensemaking workshop is when we will be sharing the outputs from the workshops we have run, and considering how the various learning interventions we have developed could work together. This is a great chance to contribute to the final stage of the project, and is open to anyone taking part in a September workshop or who has previously taken part in a focus group or interview as part of this work.

There will be two of these sensemaking workshops on Tuesday 27th September:

  • 10:00 - 12:30
  • 13:30 - 16:00

Accessibility information

These workshops will be facilitated on an online platform:

  • Presenters will be using a live camera and audio, and will show slides.
  • There will be live captioning available.
  • Delegates will also be able to share their camera and audio if invited to do so
  • Some of the interactions will take place using a chat function, where people can type their responses. The Chair of the event will summarise the main chat points verbally throughout.

Thank you for letting us know. We will contact you to make payment arrangements.
