Why we've signed the Manifesto

"We fully support engaging with the public, sharing our knowledge, research and skills. I am pleased to sign the NCCPE Manifesto to demonstrate our commitment. Public engagement brings with it additional benefit to our University, as well as the wider community."

Our approach to public engagement

Anglia Ruskin campus

Anglia Ruskin University has a long-standing commitment, in its Vision and Research & Scholarship Strategy, to making a key contribution to the enhancement of social, cultural and economic well-being. As part of this undertaking, we are committed to public engagement and the dissemination of our research. Our academic and research staff are encouraged to share their findings and successes, and to contribute to public debate. In the past few years we have established Research Institutes, for which an essential priority is engagement, both with academic colleagues and the wider community. Our Research Impact Strategy includes a pledge to implement the ‘Concordat for Engaging the Public with Research’. Signing up to the NCCPE Manifesto is an affirmation of our intentions, and a public statement of our total support for Public Engagement.
