What is RSS?

RSS is a means of keeping up to date with the latest content on a website. Websites generate a page, called a feed which special software, called RSS Readers, can use to check if new content has been added to the site. When a feed is updated, the Reader lets you know about it without having to visit the site yourself regularly. You can subscribe to multiple feeds with an RSS reader which lets you keep track of many different websites from one central location.
