Awards for All

Awards for All is a National Lottery grants scheme funding small, local community-based projects in the UK.  Each country is running its own programme, so check out the relevant section of the Awards for All website.  Awards are available from £300 - £10,000 (£500 - £5,000 in Wales) to help fund projects which involve people in their community; bringing them together to enjoy arts, sports, heritage and other community activities, and projects that promote education, the environment and health in the local community.  Applications are welcomed from not-for-profit groups, parish or town council, schools or health bodies. Grants must be used within one year.  Applications are accepted all year round.

UnLtd Millennium Awards

UnLtd's Level 1 Millennium Awards provide practical and financial support (£500 - £5,000) to people with the ideas and commitment to develop projects which will benefit their community.  UnLtd Millennium Awards are for people over the age of 16, living in the UK and who are applying as an individual or informal group for start-up money.  Projects must benefit the public or a community in the UK; be in need of an UnLtd Millennium Award to ensure their success; offer a learning opportunity for the applicant(s) and be either a new initiative or clear expansion of an existing project. Applications are accepted all year round for Level 1 funding.

Level 2 Awards (up to £15,000) support people whose ideas are already developed or pay for the living expenses of Award Winners to help them devote more time to their projects. There are two Level 2 competitions per year.  Deadlines: Expression of Interest live on website - Friday 6th August 2010 10.00am.
