Register your place now for the two day vinspired students conference; in association with WiSCV. 

This event is for both staff and students involved in student volunteering in HE and FE and comes at an important time, as student volunteering faces challenges to how it is funded and supported in future. The conference will help delegates to respond to these challenges collectively and in their own institutions, and will provide a platform to recognise and celebrate the value of student volunteering.

The event will also provide opportunities for delegates to network, share best practice, and attend sessions on key topics affecting student volunteering. Sessions will cover a variety of topics including:

• best practice for student-led projects
• relating student volunteering to employability
• developing an international volunteering programme
• turning negatives into positives through community projects
• a showcase of work carried out by the vinspired students programme, including our pilot projects
• findings of research into student volunteering carried out by vinspired students and the Institute for Volunteering Research

The conference fee is £115 for students and £175 for staff. Fee includes accommodation on 17th June, daytime refreshments, a gala dinner and evening entertainment. An ‘early bird’ rate of £85 for students and £145 for staff will be offered to those who confirm their place by 5th May (limited to 1 staff and 2 student places per institution).

We are limited to 140 places, so early registration is advised – and we may limit the number of delegates coming from the same institution.
