Engaging Environments 'Open House' meeting, 10:15am - 12:15pm on Wednesday 2nd of May at The Lapworth Museum of Geology, Birmingham.
We're delighted to invite you to this 'open house' session, to share with you the work done so far by the 6 funded Engaging Environments projects.
We really want to ensure that the Engaging Environments Programme is as effective as possible at realising NERC’s aim ‘to equip the environmental research sector to deliver effective, national-scale public engagement with contemporary issues of environmental science’. Your help in working out how best to achieve these ends, through better aligning our collective efforts, will be greatly appreciated.
The first part of the meeting will involve the funded projects providing short updates on their activity, and the lessons we are learning. The second part of the session will provide the opportunity to network with the projects and with the NERC team, who will be framing the second phase of the project later this summer.
There are bursaries available to cover travel costs to the event. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
