Pilot Project Fund
The vinspired students pilot project fund has now closed. Applicants should expect to hear from us by the end of the week commencing 26th October 2009.
The NCCPE has launched a pilot project fund through the vinspired students programme to test and trial new ideas around student volunteering. Funded projects will need to create high quality volunteering opportunities for students and contribute to our learning about student volunteering within one or more of the following three themes:
- Enhancing good practice
- Tackling gaps and barriers
- Promoting innovation and growth
The vinspired students fund is open to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in England. Applications can involve partnerships of two or more HEIs and HEIs may apply in partnership with community organisations.
We will fund up to 15 pilot projects and applicants may bid for funds of between £5,000 and £10,000. Additional funding is being provided by NCCPE to fund pilot projects in Wales, Scotland and/or Northern Ireland.
Projects can start from any time after funding has been agreed and accepted, and must be completed by 31st July 2010.
The deadline for applications has now passed. Successful applicants will be informed during week beginning 26th October.
